Ms. Hansma advises businesses and owners throughout the corporate life cycle, providing practical solutions to real world problems. She has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions and private equity formation. Her clients prize her ability to act as business consultant as well as legal advisor.

Joy is returning to California after two years practicing law at major international law firms in New York City where she concentrated on issues surrounding the formation of private equity partnerships.

Ms. Hansma represented three large clients investing in the largest private equity fund formed in 2006. She has closed numerous multimillion and multibillion dollar deals.
