Robert A. Bleicher, Director

Mr. Bleicher focuses his practice on commercial litigation. Before joining Carr, McClellan he was lead trial counsel in complex disputes involving business transactions, international transportation, products liability, professional liability, securities law, and insurance.

Mr. Bleicher’s clients are involved in technology, construction, shipping and transportation, manufacturing, food services, industrial gases, securities, and insurance. The matters he handles involve tort, mass tort, breach of contract, warranty, and unfair business practice issues before trial and appellate courts and various arbitration forums. He has extensive experience in toxic exposure and catastrophic injury claims. Mr. Bleicher’s international shipping and transportation practice focuses on commercial disputes, casualties, and environmental claims. His litigation practice routinely extends to matters such as trade secret misappropriation, misleading advertising, and employment claims. As part of his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Bleicher has extensive ADR experience in mediation and arbitration.

In his securities practice, Mr. Bleicher represents the interests of broker dealers and their registered representatives in lawsuits, regulatory proceedings, and investigations dealing with claims of fraud, misrepresentation, churning, suitability, due diligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and unfair competition. He has litigated matters involving a variety of investment products, including stocks, options, warrants, commodities, currency futures, mutual funds, limited partnerships, and variable life and annuity products. He has tried over 20 matters to judgment before various industry-related arbitration forums.
